This is an absolutely gorgeous red velvet Bill Blass gown from his Fall/Winter 1985 collection. It vintage bias cut evening gown has thin spaghetti straps that cross in the back and a nice, draped neckline.

This lovely dress has red silk lining, a plunging back and a metal hook and eye closure with a metal zipper down the center back seam for closure. We love the unique low V that extends down the back to the beginning of the zipper. This dress is very flattering and versatile on many body types. The entire fabric is a bias cut, so it effortlessly moves with your body.

We estimate this dress would best fit a modern size 6/8, depending on how you would like it to fit, but please review the measurements for a proper fit.

There is one small nick to the fabric, near the hem, (as shown), probably from a heel, otherwise excellent condition.
